      You are new and start working with Blogger and want a good crawler on your blog and gain good ranking on google today i will tell you how you can do this with Custom Robots.Txt. I will guide you step by step how you set in your blogger setting and i hope you will get positive results. 



    Firstly you have to know what is Custom Robot.Txt?


Robot.txt is a text file which contains code which save on blog server which compels the web visitors to rank and make a good crawl on your blog as the google search robots.txt file before the crawls.

   
    What kind of Coding Custom Robot.Txt contain?
    Custom Robot.Txt coding have three portions. First of all i will tell you about these three portions that will help you to understand the real meaning / work of Custom Robot.Txt file.
  • User-agent: Medapartner-Google.   This portion of coding is for Google Adsense Robots which helps to put related ads to your blog. If you are using Google Adsense on your blog then let it as it is.
  • User-agent: *  This portion is for all Robots in the default setting of the blog links are prohibited to index by search crawlers so that web crawlers will not index our page or post links due the next portion of the coding.
  • Disallow: /search     This portion of the code shows that keywords search after the domain / site name (i.e)  "www.touchlifein.blogspot.com/search/" will be ignored. If you want good crawlers on your blog you have to Allow the search the whole blog index and pages with the next portion coding.
  • Allow: /     In this portion of the coding we allow the crawlers to our blog homepage and index of the post / feeds and pages.  

Step by Step procedure to set Custom Root.Txt file in your Blog

Follow these steps to enable Custom Robots.Txt file in your blog:-
  • First of all Go to your blog on blogger.com
  • Go to Setting >> Search Preferences >> Crawlers and Indexing >> Custom Robots.Txt  >> Edit  >> Yes
  • Then write Custom Robot.Txt in the Code Box (As in Screenshot)
  • Click on the Save Changes Button
